Financial English


Cambridge ESOL has long been the international standard for English Language testing and evaluation. It is only natural that our courses lead to their international qualifications. The ICFE (International Certificate in Financial English) has been developed jointly by Cambridge ESOL and ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).

Our course covers vocabulary related to four main areas: Accounting (Bookkeeping, Depreciation and Amortization, Auditing) Banking (Financial Institutions, Investment Banking and Interest Rates), Corporate Finance (Venture Capital, Stocks and Shares, Mergers and Takeovers, Financial Regulation and Supervision) and Economics and Trade (International trade, Incoterms, Insurance and Taxation).

Lessons are offered twice a week in 90 minute sessions. The monthly fee is $U 2.600.

ICFE sessions are held on the following:

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 7.30 pm.
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7.30 to 9.00 pm.
  • Mondays and Wednesdays from 8.30 to 10.00 am.

The entry requirement for this course is to be 18 years old at the time of enrolment, to have obtained a FCE pass or equivalent, and to pay an admission fee of $600, which covers the cost of all materials used in the course.
